Fitzer Steam Coil Air Preheaters (SCAPH) are high-efficiency finned tube heat exchangers designed to preheat combustion air using steam as the heating medium. SCAPH systems are widely used in thermal power plants, boilers, recovery boilers, process heaters, dryers, and industrial furnace applications to improve combustion efficiency, prevent cold-end corrosion, and ensure reliable operation during startup and low-load conditions. Steam flows through the tubes while ambient air passes over the extended fin surfaces, enabling efficient heat transfer and uniform air heating.

Manufactured with robust construction and optimized thermal design, FITZER SCAPH units offer excellent heat recovery, reduced fuel consumption, lower emissions, and extended equipment life. They are custom-engineered to suit specific process requirements and operating conditions.
